I was shooting for under 10 minutes, but there really was no rest in this WOD. If it was not for the double unders Jake would have given me more of a run for my money.

I was happy with this WOD. The thruster were hard, but manageable. The KTE's were what they are. But the double unders are always my show stopper if I don't get in the groove right away it just eats up SO much time.

Nice METCON...I like it! Quick and Heavy, good mix of strong strength move, gymnastic skill and just enough "single modality" to get your heart rate up and activated you Cardio-respiratory/Aerobic energy pathway. With the jumping of rope, this would have not hit the aerobic side of the house. Good WOD.
I would try it, but do to my lack of jump rope skill, it would turn into an marathon skill development session with some hevy thrusters and K2E thrown in. The whole WOD would take so long, the overall power output would be about ZERO! Ah, but if I sub'd with 4:1 singles or tuck jumps, the power output would be simular, the "dosage" would be on, and the training intent would be realized.
What are you doing next Wednesday during the day? I am off and was wondering about hitting your gym.
Oh 2 goog METCON, one short (13min) the other shorter (6min)? I am feeling an ME day coming up? Maybe a ME upper body? Press 3-3-3-3-3 and weighted chins 3-3-3-3-3?
Yeah this METCON was a good one. I am going to hit more of these short and heavy WOD's.
Jake, had an issue with the DU's also. But he suffered through it and ended with a slower time than me, but he was sucking pretty bad because of the DU's. Some times the worse part of a WOD is sucking at something and therefore you get more out of it.
As far as a WOD for WED. I am thinking about ME and some skill development. I am still not sure what I am going to do, there is so much I want to work on...
