Tuesday

For time:
500m row
15 Left arm 135lb deadlifts
15 right arm Kettlebell snatches 1.5 pood
1000m row
15 Left arm Kettlebell snatches 1.5 pood
15 Right arm 135lb deadlifts
500m row

Time 15:22

Again the hard part was the row not the weight. I could not do any of the lifts unbroken, bu it is the first time doing any kind of deadlift since I hurt my back. I could of went harder on this one, the row really sucked the tank dry. Also I blame the competition factor I had none. On the PatM intensity scale I give this a 3. Which is a medium effort to those who are not familiar with this.

Jason,

This looks like an ass-kicker of a WOD. I like it...row, deadlift, KB snatches, that is a lot of the same movement...but the load seems to be appropriate without it getting excessive in the openning of the hip department.

I feel pretty good after the deadlifts. My actual spine feels fine, but the muscles of my back, both lower and upper are feeling some serious DOMS. I forgot just how much heavy DL stress the entire back...the strength generate holding the entire back in isometric contraction to allow the force generate from first pushing off the floor and then openning the hips. Anyway, I think I will be fine, but I need to lighten the rest of this week up and let it recover.

Hey, I have been wondering if you want to get together this month. We can meet whereever....but, I want to get together with an olifting coach and see if you want in. I think they charge about $40/session for 2. At our level, this is a great investment. Let me know,

Otherwise, how is your back doing? I am seriously missing doing snatches....but I know I have to rest it...KB swings, DLs, Olfits...they are all potent exercises...that I need to take in serious moderation.

Take care,

Pat
