Triple under

I have been trying to get a Triple under with the jump rope. I am almost there, and I have the technique down. The trick is to slow down on the double unders, which is difficult in itself, and then blast out the triple. Anyhow, another minor goal.

Bench press

135x5
185x4
205x2
215x1
225x1(f)

I stopped at 225, was not really motivated to continue w/ the bench press.

METCON

50-35-20

Box jumps 20"
push ups
knees to elbows

16:54

Felt good moving the body and giving myself a rest from moving a load. I did not know what to expect with this one but the KTE's really affected the box jumps and vice versa.

Jason,

Triple under? Are you kidding? That is awesome and so beyond my capabilities. I really, really suck at the DU and it is the serious chink in my armor. I read the Greg Amundson article in the CFJ and I agree with everything it said. Basically, I need to learn it.

On the snatch, do you do snatch balance and high hang full snatches? Both of these work on pulling yourself under the bar and catching it. It is strong fast, not just strong. The muscle snatch works strength, but not speed. To snatch you need both strength and speed.

Otherwise, keep going strong.
