Tuesday

I attempted overhead squats, but when I was warming up with 65lbs I felt some pulling in my hip and lower back. So then decided to do the following:

with a 45lb bar
25 OHS
50 Back Squats
75 Front Squats
30 box jumps

The WOD was supposed to finish with a 500m row, but we only had one rower and my partner finished before me so he rowed and I did the box jumps, 50 box jumps would have been more sufficient.

What do you think is a 1 mile time to 5k time? For the APFT, my second mile was always, I mean always 30s slower then my first (no matter if that first mile was 6min or 8 (which I was running when I was a fat-Pat at 197lbs). Anyway, continuing that out, I think a max 6:30mile, would give me a 13:30 2mile and a 21min, plus about 45sec, so 21:45 on my 5k.

Good to see you hitting it hard. I am almost back to 100%. Just a little nag in my groin. I am still rebuilding and still checking your blog. Keep up the training.
