"Lynne"
Five rounds for max reps of:
Body weight bench press
Pull-ups
Body weight 186,
BP 8, 8, 6, 5, 5,
PU 31, 26, 23, 16, 22.
Total is 150.
I was then challenged by an old 'body building' friend of mine. So we set up a bar with 135lb and maxed out on it and then did pull ups. I knocked out 15 reps on the bench, and 19 reps on the pull ups total of 34. Now my new adversary did 33 reps on the bench and 1 pull up. Bastard.... note his body weight is 231 lbs. Earlier he tried to match my first round of 185 bench press and max pull ups. All he had to do was match 39 total (my first round total) he lost by one rep. (pull ups)
So now that he sees there is a competition factor in CrossFit he is willing to give it a shot with me. He has agreed to do it once a week, he stills has the meathead mentality.

150 is a solid Lynne. How did that compare to previous?
Lynne is one of my favorite CF WODs. Hey, did you BB friend comment on the "amazing pump" this WOD gives the upper body?
Yeah thanks man. The very first time I did this one was like my first month of CF. I did 'for time' it took me like 7 minutes. I was completely smoked and I have no idea what my numbers were. Like I said I thought it was for time, nothing like following directions.
Anyhow I really do like this one too, it does give an amazing pump. I told Kevin (body builder) about the pump, he was doing chest and just did not believe me. Or just figured 'I get a pump doing what I do' But after I was done with the WOD I mentioned the scoring aspect of it and then he was interested and told me anytime competition is involved he is interested. So that is how we got started with each other... now tonight he is going to join us in Front squats, but I am going to turn it into small barn burner. hehehehe...... just to give him a taste.
